Apple released a statement today regarding its App Store Review Guidelines. The company says:The App Store has revolutionized the way mobile applications are developed and distributed. With over 250,000 apps and 6.5 billion downloads, the App Store has become the world’s largest mobile application platform and App Store developers have earned over one billion dollars from the sales of their apps.We are continually trying to make the App Store even better. We have listened to our developers and taken much of their feedback to heart. Based on their input, today we are making some important changes to our iOS Developer Program license in sections 3.3.1, 3.3.2 and 3.3.9 to relax some restrictions we put in place earlier this year.

Amazon.com has introduced “Checkout by Amazon” (CBA) that allows people with accounts to make purchases on third-party sites using their Amazon account credentials without having to leave the merchant’s site.Amazon says by streamlining the checkout process for customers that it reduces the potential for shopping car abandonment for merchants.
The company says in the past when using other payment methods, users would leave a merchant’s site after clicking the checkout button, leading to an often confusing redirection.

Google has launched YouTube in Argentina, making it the 25th country to have its own version of the site. "This means that Argentines will be able to more easily discover local talent like GuadalajaraMan, UESiglo21, farolatino, casiangeles or yoteloexplico, as well as view the most popular and most viewed videos in their country," says YouTube. "We're also teaming up with local broadcasters to ensure that YouTube viewers, wherever you may be, can watch some of the best news, sports and public television videos being made in Argentina today," the company says.
